hello! i am here to post for my reflections after th trip to cambodia recently. 3 questions - 1) What have i learnt about myself? 2) What i learnt about cambodia? 3) What i learnt about my friends?
~~
1) I have learnt many things about myself. i've learnt how to be more confident and brave, after designing the mural. i was being given a task to design, therefore i was nervous as it was my first time doing it and i was scared that it would just ruin everything. my hand was shivering while drawing on the wall with the chalk. nevertheless, with all my friends and teachers support, the mural design turned out to be awesome! :D next, i've learnt how to be more indepent, responsible and not be complacent. since in cambodia, we didnt get to eat much food, we had to adapt their way of living. being responsible, is when i have to be responsible in taking care of my own valuables, health and also others. not to forget, completing the tasks that are being given by the teachers. also, i have learnt to not take things for granted. after the visit to th Farm Orphanage, i realised that it was hard for those children who have to live without their parents. but i strongly believe that these children have a bright future ahead. (:

2) at first, i thought that cambodia would be a really humid place. instead, it turns out to be quite cooling unlike singapore! it was 19 degrees celcius, when we reached cambodia on the first day. in cambodia, there are many small kids that go around asking for money. in the night market, all of us bargained for a lower price for the things we bought. although people in cambodia have lower income, yet they cant make much profit after all the bargaining, they still smile and accepted. this shows that cambodian people are just grateful, and always smile no matter what happens.

3) FRIENDS! they are always there around us to help when we need. my friends are very helpful as we help to look out for one another. my friends are caring. everytime when one of us gets injured or gets thirsty, our friends would always be there to offer us a bottle and help. not to forget, having friends just makes the journey more fun and memorable. :D thanks my friends! :D
~~
that's all. i've learnt many things on this journey. i wanna thank all the teachers for giving a chance for us to experience all this. thanks teachers! :D im looking forward to more overseas trips! :D
